Bad Weather -- How to know whether the workshop is on or off:

The easiest thing to listen for on the radio and watch for on TV is the school closings.  Go to fcps.edu or to WTOPnews.com if you want to find out the status online. (The school situation affects my ability to be at the workshops or not, because one of my children goes to school an hour away from my home and I need lead time to pick him up.)  So please alert yourself to what Fairfax County Schools are doing, as follows:

There will be NO EVENING WORKSHOP (5:30 - 7:30) under any of the following conditions:

     -- If Fairfax County Schools are CLOSED;
     -- If FC Schools CLOSE EARLY;
     -- If FC Schools are OPEN during the day, but 
        AFTER SCHOOL/EVENING PROGRAMS ARE CANCELED.

In any case, please use your own judgment.  If according to the school weather policy, the ALL ABOUT YOUniversity workshop is open, please don't drive if you don't want to.  This is yet another reason why we have a flexible attendance policy.
